Peter is most correct!  PC magazine did an article on this very 
subject.  They discovered that all CDs are not the same with respect to 
retentivity.  As I recall Fuji (?) did rather well in that arena, as 
well as some others.  With a recommendation of same, I did a "buy" at 
one of the office box stores of Fujifilm CDs and DVD-R disks.  So far, 
so good.  No little spinel groups to migrate and re-orient..... hi!!
