I've been invited by the 261st Coast Artillery //Reenactors group to
set up WWII radio equipment this weekend primarily on Saturday(4-26-14).
This large group will turn back the clock at Ft Miles to 1941. I will
be using low power BC-1306 and BC-474 sets and BC-611 radios and will
make an attempt to utilized the RM-29 remote with these sets to allow
land line to radio coordination between the "Plotting" room with other
installations.

Saturday I will sneak in a "modern" radio and attempt battery powered
portable ops on top of one of the sand dunes using a half-wave end fed
"Fuch" tuned antenna and check into the M and S net. So Moose and
Squirrel personnel at the Sussex event listen up for a low power signal.
I would like to also make a CW contact with the Sussex group on 80
meters if someone can find a key. I will send slow and please do the same.

As in the past I will have APRS operational - - - which has sort of
been a new MRCA tradition started by "Don't follow me I am lost" Walt
KB3SBC.

For the APRS data go to Google APRS maps and enter my call K4CHE, no
slant bar or dashes etc. are necessary.
