If they can get on tonight, we probably can work them on the Old Milrad CW net on 3570 at 2100 Eastern. Even my Angry 9 into a mobile Hamstick can get in (most of the time). If they want to get in on the first call up, it would be good if they had a BC-221 (to be in character) or a digital frequency counter to get set up on frequency ahead of time. NCS Ted does a very quick call up and check in, with a TBX it will be tough to find us and then get on frequency in time to make it into the first round.

Subject: [MRCA] TBX ops from Quantico OMRN yesterday
Hi Friends,
My friends successfully deployed their TBX set yesterday and heard some net traffic. They made some transmissions but probably did not have an optimal antenna setup for skywave propagation. It was a good step forward for them, though, as a receiver repair needed to be done since the last deployment, as well as some rehabilitation and repair on the gas-powered generator.
They plan to try again with a better antenna and I will try to give a little more warning next time so you can be on the look out for them.
Rob
