[MRCA] R-1444 AN/URR-69 Receiver

If that’s the radio I am thinking of it uses a collection of the most god awful imposable to find anything about chips in the synthesizer of any radio built. Don’t know for cetin but think that was a radio where they pushed the envelope just a little too far in the design and technology for when it was built. Do recall that they sell for huge money when working.

Hi Gang:

Picked up one of these babies at NEAR-Fest in NH last weekend.  Looks like an interesting radio although it is somewhat outside my area of interest and expertise.  However I have always wanted to play with one if the opportunity ever presented itself.

I couldn't find much about this receiver online but fortunately the manual .pdf was readily available on Google books.  would appreciate any wisdom, stories, comments, etc. that any of you may care to share.
