[MRCA] R-1444 AN/URR-69 Receiver

Hi Gang:

Picked up one of these babies at NEAR-Fest in NH last weekend.  Looks like an
interesting radio although it is somewhat outside my area of interest and
expertise.  However I have always wanted to play with one if the opportunity
ever presented itself.

I couldn't find much about this receiver online but fortunately the manual .pdf
was readily available on Google books.  would appreciate any wisdom, stories,
comments, etc. that any of you may care to share.
