[MRCA] Moose and Squirrel Net CW Ops

Hi Breck,

We'll listen for you, but I'm Morse challenged. I due recognize the
letter E, however. Also I'll be tied up in another radio event on Saturday.

1500 Hz should be smack in the middle of the passband for most SSB
sets. The phone company tells us that if you limit the audio bandwidth
to 2000 Hz, intelligibility is impaired by 65%, so 2.7 is about average.

One possible clod in the churn here in Jersey City is that I use a
Timewave audio DSP to try to hear everyone over my S-5 noise level. I'll
have to figure out how to make it not cancel out the steady tones of CW.

Dit-ditty-dit-dit,
Al
