Christopher interesting you mention this about the auto tune. I don't
know if you saw my post a while back, but I had to pull the HV supply to
repair.

When I hit the test key lever, nothing happens with the mechanical
tuning inside the radio. I have the radio out if the case and the safety
bypassed. I just assumed the auto-tune would not work until the HV relay
energized. The radio is connected to a dummy load.

I assume its pretty obvious when this thing is tuning up? Its quite a
the mechanical marvel inside there.

I'll try changing bands to see if the auto tune does anything.

I'll also keep digging on the manual and see if anyone from the list
comes up with any hot tips.
