OK,  John and Tom.... You guys have it.  I'll see if I can insert these 
puppies where they're supposed to go.  I did have a time stretching the 
canvas straps to mate with the two units without these spacers, but 
maybe now they've had time to settle in and I can get them installed.   
I still haven't downloaded the correct manual, yet.  Maybe I can stop 
bothering everyone once I get the book. Nah... probably not.
