Dayton Ohio, also plan on day trip to Fair radio the day before. It's like a mini ham fest but all military stuff. The little Ham fest like the two or three at Howard County are small but always good turnout. Manassas, York and many of the others are good also. Timonium was not a bad show, my biggest complaint was not the ham fest but the closing down of outside tailgating, that I always use to do the $9 a head to get in that cost $18 for me and my wife and having to wait outside for fifty minutes to be let in at nine. Been doing this for a while now and always someone is saying it's all over, there's no future to this and the like but as far as I am concerned I will still be going, after all if you just sit in your house not going to be buying and selling much there.

Are there any good Hamfests left to buy and sell boatanchors, Military equipment and test equipment.
I know Ebay has taken a lot of business but I like to examine the equipment and don't want to hassle wuth shipping.
I'm interested in shows in th NJ, NY and PA but listing all venues would be helpful to others in this group.

<snip>
I await the series of fests at Howard Co. and those across the river.
Maybe Hagerstown? I've gotten some good items there, as small as that one is. Deals and treasures are where you find 'em.
