Hmmm ... interesting list. Visiting it wishlist style ...

AN/ARC-8: I have the BC-348 and would like to add a T-47/ART-13. My current
BC-348 is ex-Navy and has the SO-239 modification on it (Navy, not civilian)
however I'm getting a second one with the normal post which probably would
be a better choice. Mounts would, of course, be an issue as would the Tx
dynamotor but they would happen in time.

AN/ARC-2: I'd love to have one but then, I'd love to build up an AN/ARC-11
too. They'd go together nicely.

AN/ARC-38A (and relatives): On the wish list, mostly for comm with the
mainland nets including digital modes. The power supply would be homemade
(as would likely be the rack) however I have the control head and code book
which I guess is a start.

RT-380/AR (18S-4): I have one that would be fun to crystal up for the
assorted nets including RTTY. It's kind of like having a crystal controlled
AN/ARC-8 all in one box.

AN/ARC-39: Had three of these, one made by ARC and two by SunAir. The two
SunAir ones were in terrible condition when I got them so were combined to
make one operational one. These were designed for the Navy by ARC, probably
for training aircraft or operation into foreign airfields not yet equipped
with VHF or UHF since there doesn't seem any other logical explanation. Of
the 900 made, ARC built 300 and SunAir the remainder using slightly less
costly methods & materials. I had the ARC unit on the air using a separate
tunable Rx and an AC power supply. Even with the limitations of crystal
control, it was fun to use.

AN/ARC-58: The Rx would be cool to have someday. Maybe.

618T-3: A definite want. I'd prefer this - especially a 618T-3B - over
pretty much everything else. This with the stuff needed to make it work
(control head, connectors, rack, 490L<?> tuner etc) attached to a power
supply I've got the parts for that will deliver 24v @75 amps & a small
source of 115vac, 400 cycle power would just make me sooo comfy. Of course,
it's also the one that's the farthest out of budget. But then, that's why
this is a wishlist.

Best regards,

Note to self: Need more henchmen, good ones this time. Also, start
auditions for new female lab assistant.
