I've not paid any attention to newer sets but AN/MRC-20 and AN/MRC-35 were
Jeep or 3/4 Ton mounted HF/VHF/UHF (all AM) sets with simplex retransmit
capabilities between any pair. Radios were AN/ARC-3,8,27 but there was
probably one using the equipment generation the thread has been mentioning.
