[MRCA] MTA show, April 28 & 29th

To those MRCA radio display members coming to the MTA's show in Sussex
County, New Jersey.

 

There will be a horse show also at the fairgrounds that weekend.  The
location where you setup will change.

 

When you come to the show, see me.  We are running com on FRS channel 1, no
pl, if you want to call me on the radio, or just come to the show table, and
we will find another spot for you to setup.  You can either go up by the
reinactors, or further down the same street where you used to setup.  But
please don't go to where you were the last few years as we have been
restricted from that location by the fairgrounds. 

 

And please don't just move without letting me know where you are going, so I
can coordinate your location with the rest of the show organizers.  Next
year, you can probably go back to your old location, or stay where you move
to, whichever you like better. 

 

We are hoping for a bigger and better show this year.  Weather and
conditions permitting, we are going to have a Huey land this year as the
Blackhawk is deployed with the NJ ANG.  As always, military radio
enthusiasts are encouraged to come, setup antennas, and demonstrate military
coms at the show.  Admission for reinactors and people in military vehicles
is free.  Others are the princely sum of $5 per day, cheaper than a Happy
meal.
