The ART-13/ATC universal power supply project has moved forward such
that the first unit will be built up in a few weeks with basic data
available shortly afterwards. I'll follow up with an in-depth ER
article on both the power supply and the NIB ART-13 I now have
operational via my old p.s.

What has transpired is this: The two custom transformer providers
contacted, while initially interested, have fallen into (it appears)
disinterest. This is manifest by no further outgoing info (e.g.:
quotes, delivery, etc.). Therefore, I have assumed that their business
models do not support my request(s). That being the case, I have
successfully identified three discreet transformers (providing the
requisite 1150vdc, 400vdc, and 28vdc) from Hammond. I have also
determined that Fair Radio Sales has, by far, the best price on these
items and, via suggestion, has now has included the required 28v
transformer in their on-line catalog. Upon drop-ship of the last order
from Hammond, said to be mid-July, I'll build up the prototype and get
the basic data out. Truth told, I believe that going the Hammond/Fair
Radio route will be best. By using three transformers, each voltage may
be individually controlled and there are no special orders or custom
orders to be reckoned with.

Finally, Fair Radio does have price breaks on as few as two of the same
Hammond items, so perhaps some of you all can double-up and get a better
price.

Comment are always appreciated.

More to follow as it unfolds.
