[MRCA] GRC-106 LSB Modification

Hey all
I'm new to the list and am looking for info on how to modify the RT-834 in my GRC-106 for LSB operation. I found someone in Japan that used to make the module / filter assy, but they aren't making them anymore. I'd really like to be able to use it on 75 & 40 meters. Is it just a case of switching in a LSB filter in place of the USB filter or do you need to add additional circuitry? I've found 1.75 Mhz filters for a Collins radio and was wondering if they would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
