Bob, How might I get a copy of your TM? That would prove a good find
and help the project a lot, especially in identifying the nomenclature
of all the bits and pieces. As I mentioned earlier, I'll need to
identify and find the missing front-panel terminals for the transmitter
grid and key connections. Looking at a picture I came across, it
appears they are the same as on the receiver, etc. Mike (N4FS), do you
have any of these? Regarding the leg mounts, that's been a bugaboo for
me, to be sure. I have one of the SCR-188 chests up in our hangar that
came from CAP, years ago. The leg attachments are long gone but I use
it for construction detail for my home-brew attempts. The door braces
are another unobtanium. The Chinese gold-colored junk at the hardware
stores work but aren't the same style and won't hold O.D. paint worth
spit. The side handles available are not a bad match, however, as are
the hinges and end caps. I'll continue to press..... In the load of
struff I got on Friday, there was a very nice calibrator/monitor (sic)
accessory for the TBX. That might be a trading item?
