[MRCA] BC-669-D and BC-654

I haven't seen many posts recently on the reflector but I'll try to stir
up some activity.  I finally picked up the BC-669-D that was offered to
me and now could use some assistance with getting it going.  To start
off are there any BC-669 owners on the reflector?  I'd like to touch
base with you. I'm just now giving the unit a bath.  It was originally
purchased from Telemarine Communications Co INC at 140 West Broadway, NY
in 1958.
In the load of equipment was a new in the crate PE-103-A power unit for
the BC-654. The crate is still strapped and has the shipping documents
attached from the factory. But this power unit apparently does not go
with the 669-D.
I'd like to locate an original (if possible) BC-669-D manual or the
SCR-543-D manual. I have an original SCR-543-C manual.  I note that the
669-D has the start/stop/choke buttons on the lower left which are also
located on the earlier RM-21 remote.  Is there a separate remote for the
669-D?  Enough bandwidth for now, thanks for any help guys.
