[MRCA] AS-2259 Antenna

Gene any more input on the AS-2259.?
I've worked up several matching schemes but the best is just a simple
T-match.
Variable cap on the input to an adjustable roller inductor and then a fixed
cap on the output.
Most of the equipment out there that is commercial and has an autotune
feature use some version of the T-match.

The antenna works but as I mentioned before I think it would be easier to
make the elements longer for 75/80 meters and thus make it easier to match.

I will add the comments on water sneaking into the mast connections, and the
guy lines are very old on these antenna and not really suitable for
extended outdoor use.

I have taken several photos and designed a "plumbers delight" connector for
the bottom mast and will try and put the photos and connector details on my
little web page. Any input from your end would be appreciated.
