Bill,
I have a BC-1066B I acquired sometime ago and was wondering what
frequencies it covered and purpose it served. From what I've gathered, it's not
really a receiver, but more of a station monitor for certain low powered UHF
transmitters. It's frequency range may be 225-250MHZ, but not positive. The
extra space in the wooden box it's built in was probably for a A and B battery to
allow it to be operated portable.

If you or anyone finds out anything to the contrary please let me know. It's
a pretty looking thing built by Philco in Philadelphia, Pa and I'd love to
be able to use it.

Regards,
            Joe Cro N3IBX
