[MRCA] OD Paint

Robert:

I ordered two cans of OD from
http://www.galleria-e.com/cgi-bin/Colemans.storefront/en/product/150201&2D6
yesterday and they arrived this afternoon. (The vendor is just across the
border in PA.) I applied two coats of primer and two of OD to the radio
case of my PRC-10 soon thereafter. Other than some dripping that I'll have
to re-paint, the finish looks very good. At least to my novice eyes. You
might want to look into these guys as yet another source for OD.

You wrote (below) that you have wrinkle OD paint for WW-II radios. Do
I understand correctly that the BC-611's came with this finish from the
factory? If so, I think I'd like to refinish the -611 I bought last year
with factory style paint. How much for a can or two? Might you also have a
rubber cap for the antenna insulator of the -611? Price? I'll send a
check for these items and for a -611 toggle swtich that we last corresponded
about. (I've been otherwise occupied moving two daughters into colleges
this summer, so I haven't had much military surplus radio time, if you know
what I mean.)

     Thanks.
