[MRCA] To paint or not to paint.

Gents:

     I've been collecting squad radios for a few months now.  The cases show
their age - the PRC-6's especially.  Here's my question:  Should I repaint
the cases to restore their new appearance, or are they worth more in the
collectors' market in as-is but original paint (if original is truly the
finish I see)?

     If I should paint them, can anyone point me in the direction of a
source for authentic OD paint?  I'm sure there are various "official"
versions of OD color, so I could use some tutoring in this as well.

     My plans are to restore the PRC-6's (I think I have six of them) and
keep a couple for 6M use.  I'd consider selling the remaining units.

     All thoughts appreciated.
