Wide band is not legal...Back about 1950 there was a simple mod
that made them NBFM and they worked.  A bunch of us used them on
11 meters around Syracuse, NY.  Do not remember what was involved
but as I recall it was simple and did not destroy the rig as a
a historical piece.  Seems like it was changing out a couple of
capacitors and resistors and retuning the slugs.
