hello tom i’m joe ke5yph....a couple of years ago i bought an older model yeasu ht at the irvine hamfest and the battery wouldn’t take a full charge and when i try to key it up it would shut down so i bought a new battery for it and it worked great after that....i bought the battery online but i forgot what website it was but i think i paid around $20 or $25 for the battery
