[Motorola] SPECTRA problem

I have a high-power VHF Spectra with the A9 control head that is

acting strangely. I recently replaced all of the "bad" capacitors and

the radio appeared to work fine. Now I find that I have to have

power applied for at least 10 minutes (it's still on the bench) before
I

turn on the control head...otherwise, the head blinks the "SELF CHECK"

message for at least 10 minutes, and then stays on and the radio

works fine.

 

Does anybody have an ideas?
