Either the SPI bus does not have any conductors in the remote-mount cable,
so the data can't be passed, or the cable length is such that the data is
distorted.  I know that Motorola cautions against trying to program through
a remote head, but you probably can use the RIBless programming cable that
plugs into the rear accessory jack.

I have three CDM radios remote mounted and I can NOT program through the 
control head and must put the radio back to a dash mount before I can 
program.....


Any idea why this is happening????
