Don't forget the separate pocket receiver-transmitter pair of 1961, the
model numbers were HO3ANC on the receiver and H11NBC on the transmitter. I
think the H03ANC was also sold as a pager or stand-alone pocket receiver.
There was a back-pack portable in the late 1930's but I have some doubt it
was ever marketed. There's a grainy photo of it on my website:

There were FPTR and FPTRU pack sets at the same time as the FHTR FHTRU
series, which were the ones with the little hinged speaker on top and the
wide
chrome handle.
There's also an olive drab military pack-set with no civilian counterpart,
the PRC-21, which seems to be how Motorola used up all the excess FHTR
series modules. The metal pack sets such as the H23AAM and P33AAM had
military AN/PRC- designations as well but I don't know what they all were.
After about 1972 there was a big increase in all the different models of
HT's (and pack sets) to where it gets hard to keep track.
One of the oddest late pack-sets in my collection is an MP-500, which
appears to have been made for Amtrak or another railroad. It is basically
an MH-70 Handie-Com glued to a lantern battery power pack with a power amp
added. No speaker, just a Handie-Com remote speaker mike. The speaker on
the case is a dummy.
I think Motorola designed the PRC-6 as well as the PRC-8/9/10 sets but other
contractors seem to have gotten the bulk of the business. There was an
interesting article in a circa-1950 issue of FM and Television Magazine
showing the Motorola production line for the PRC-8/9/10 sets.
