[Motorola] MT-1000 Battery advice needed.

There are several battery conditioners out there on the aftermarket. These  
are great for taking a marginal battery up to about 75% of original capacity.  
For example the MAHA battery charger with the cup adapters for the MT-1000 
runs  about $49 at most hamfests, and will totally drain and the rebuild the 
charge on  the battery pack. use the 'condition mode' about 3 times a month. It 
gets the  original packs back up to about 75-80% of original time/charge 
capability. 6 hrs  beats 25 minutes anytime.
