[Motorola] JPS ACU-1000 and Motorola XTL-5000 Mobiles?

Hello lists-
Are any of you using Motorola XTL-5000 mobile radios in conjunction with the
ACU-1000 interoperability "patch"?

My big concern is I want to use the ACU-1000 in a mobile environment.
I want some of my XTL-5000 radios to be dual control head- and need to be
sure these dual head
radios work well with the ACU-1000 before I purchase any.

All interfacing with the XTL-5000s and ACU-1000 will be rear accessory
connector, not the mike connector
and the radios will be be usable as ordinary mobiles.
