Scott:

Some Moto software will accept ham band data if you hold down the SHIFT key
while entering frequency info. The numbers come up after you release the
SHIFT key. I don't know if it works with Maratrac software.

Have you tried www.mods.dk or www.batlabs.com?

Subject: [Motorola] Motorola Maratrac

Got a VHF Maratrac here, 110 watt, clamshell head. Looking for info on
getting it into the ham band. What work is necessary on this radio? Can't
find much for modification or conversion information on the net. Found a
vague reference to using a Maratrac Lab RSS to program it out of band, but
the local Motorola shop gave me a dumbfounded look when I asked about it.

Any help? Email me...

Thanks and 73,

Scott, KB0NLY
