[Motorola] Difference between Model Numbers?

ALL Maxtrac and Radius require different programming software. There's
GM300 software for the Radius GM300, Moto Maxtrac (Conventional), Moto
Maxtracs (Trunking), Radmbl, etc.

Don't know what you mean about PROMs. The radios are programmed through the
mic jack, not by swapping out a PROM, a la Mostars, etc. If you mean trying
to swap firmware between them, no, they are totally different radios.

Not sure about the 9732/9734 difference. I'm thinking 5-pin accessory
connector vs. 16-pin accessory connector? Googling indicates that both are
8-channel. Both are 60-watt low-band radios - you'll have to look at the
board number or read them to know what bandsplit.
