[Motorola] test cables and TEK-5

This question is put to the Motorola guys that have been around for a long
time. I have just acquired a Motorola TEK-5E test panel and don't have the
book for it.  It came with Micor test cables that connect to the 20 pin
rectangular adapter connector that plugs into the TEK-5 metering panel.  Can
I use the cable I have from the older style (Motrac vintage) test meter box
that has the same 20 pin rectangular connector on the test meter end , and
the small round 12 pin connector (like on Mocom and Mitrek) on the other end
, to test Motran , Mocom and Mitrek radios?  If you did not get that , let
me say it this way.  Can the old Motrac 12 to 20 pin cable be used on my
TEK-5 meter panel to test Motran, Mocom and Mitrek? Thanks , Jeff
