A Mitrek might not be the first choice for a repeater, but some people
have done it. Check out http://www.repeater-builder.com and
http://www.seits.org and follow the appropriate links.  There are several
descriptions of converting Mitreks for use as a repeater.  How well they
work I don't know; never tried it myself.
