Getting it down to 462 MHz will probably void the type
acceptance unless you go through and change all of the
components to the exact values that were in the
original 450 - 470 MHz range units. If you void type
acceptance, then it cannot be legally used on GMRS,
land mobile, etc. The unit probably was manufactured
for the 470 - 512 MHz range where the transmit /
receive "split" is 3 MHz and not 5 MHz like in the 450
- 470 MHz range.
There is not a model number tag anywhere? You also
have to have the unit properly tagged with the
transmitter FCC type number on it. Those numbers used
to start with CC and have four numbers following.
There should be assembly numbers on the various units
that you can use to help identify the unit.

It looks like a Micor Base. the RX crystal is on
482.xxx and wondering if it can get down to the 462
area. And if anyone has a repeater card for it.
