[Motorola] MSR5000

I now have a MSR5000 VHF exciter/receiver High split. What do I have to do 
to get it into the ham bands and working properly? I have the ability to 
get it programmed. I think that something will have to be done to the VCO 
modules. Will a MICOR PA work with this?
