[Motorola] Interface MTS 2000 w/Aircraft Comm System?

Aplogies if this is a repeat for any of you as I've cross-posted this to
a cpl other lists.

Our Sheriff's office wants to interface a MTS 2000 (trunked) radio to
an airplane's intercom/radio system. Or, connect the MTS 2000 to
the observer's headset separate from the aircraft system but
maintain the intercom operation.

In other words, hear and talk on the W/T while maintaining all of the
normal aircraft comm capabilities on the observer's headset.

Preferably the W/T's audio will only go to the observer's headset which
is on the A/C's intercom/radio system.

It has to be a portable (non-permanent) arrangement as we don't own the
aircraft. Can't install a mobile radio either.

The 2 A/C they normally use have Sigtronics SPA 400 TSO Intercoms
installed.

I am sure some of you out there have already solved this???

Any suggestions? Looking for ideas, hints, pointers to vendors,
experiences?

Talked to David Clark and they say they dont have anything that will
work. Go Figure!

Thanks,

Ken Harrell
