yes, Illinois State Police...the 780 works very well, however, they are not 
completely running simplex...Mobile and Base have different 
freqs...  (www.umr.edu/~kcechura/scan/isp.htm)   I will probably use the 
MICOR speaker(s) but i am trying to find a small audio mixer of some form 
(a friend of mine is designing one for himself, but progress is slow on his 
project...work first, fun second)...as I have 4 or 5 radios in the 
truck.....id rather not have that many speakers :)

My original question was: Does anyone know what sort of radio the Illinois 
State Police are using for their low band mobiles?
