it was on the 42 MHz ISP low band system.... I was using a BC-780 XLT
with a Motorola speaker (MICOR vintage, i believe, for this particular
unit, although i am considering going to some of the older ones i have
here...MOTRAC vintage...they look neater...but are more difficult to mount,
the way i have my truck set up)....I know it was direct... I have been
playing with programming setups for the 780.... tyring to find what works
best for I-55 through IL.... (I can hear a couple of counties for about
3/4 of the trip....think they might be using a bit more power than they
need to)
