Low band radios (Was: Re: [Motorola] Talk About

it was on the 42 MHz  ISP low band system....  I was using a BC-780 XLT 
with a Motorola speaker (MICOR vintage, i believe, for this particular 
unit, although i am considering going to some of the older ones i have 
here...MOTRAC vintage...they look neater...but are more difficult to mount, 
the way i have my truck set up)....I know it was direct...  I have been 
playing with programming setups for the 780....  tyring to find what works 
best for I-55 through IL....  (I can hear a couple of counties for about 
3/4 of the trip....think they might be using a bit more power than they 
need to)
