[Motorola] MTS2000 Serial Number?

I would like to replace the controller board in my MTS2000 with one from =
a parts unit. I have two question about this. If I dump my codeplug in =
the new controller will all the softpot setting need to be reset and can =
the serial number be changed in the new controller to match my radio =
serial number.=20
