[Motorola] Help with MTS-2000

Good morning,
    I am trying to help out a friend who has a Motorola MTS-2000 radio.  I
have looked through the archives for the past 15 months or so, but to no
avail.  I know very little about this radio, nor have I had an opportunity
to get my hands on it just yet to try and assist him.  He is not very
technically-oriented, and has asked for my assistance.  I have a question or
two:  First, can you program this radio without cables/software?  Secondly,
how do you display the freqs that are in memory at this time?  If anyone has
a manual for this radio, I would greatly appreciate it if you could email me
part of the operating instructions.
