[Mobile-Portable] What antenna do you use for your mobile? 04/1/20 1:38 p.m.

I used a 8.5' SS CB whip fed by a SGC 230 autotuner about 18" from the tuner output just inside the trunk. Ground was made INSIDE the trunk to be protected from corrosion. The 18" wire was test lead wire with a good HV rating.
   It covered 10 - 80 and once my usual watering holes were in tuner  memory, band switching was nearly instantaneous. Surprisingly, 10 meters was a little sketchy to tune though. I don't know why. HTH.

run three or four of them on a single mast using a special mount. Even 
have a separate coil for 160. Got a screw driver antenna antenna too,
