Howdy,

I just run Hamsticks (MFJ version HF sticks).

It is not as convenient, but once I bought enough for several bands I
didn't want to switch methods. Also the F-150 I am using is a company
truck so there was that limitation. For a while I used them as dipoles
at an apartment. Years ago I had the Hustler antennas on the car. Used
them when we moved to Alaska for three years. The Kilowatt Hustler
antennas are probably better than the Hamsticks.

I have a friend in KY who uses the Tarheel. If I ever get my own
vehicle, I will use the Tarheel on his recommendation.
