Ray,
In my experience, when I can't find a path, my local car stereo/alarm system
guy always can. In my case, it was usually cabling from the battery to the
trunk, but I'm sure that they would have the best chance of getting your
coax through, as well. I would take them enuf of the kind of wire I wanted
(marine-grade stranded), and in a few hours come back and find a beautiful
and professional job. Worth a try.

Subject: [Mobile-Portable] Coax entry point into new RAM 1500 Quad cab?
Bought a new RAM 1500 Quad cab pickup to tow my travel trailer with and
am having difficulty finding path into the truck for the antenna coax.
It has a great place in the console to locate the control head of my
FT100D. But I've not yet found a way to get the coax in.
Previously, I've been able to gently snake the coax in under the hatchback
door of my Toyota 4Runner with no significant deformation of the cable.
However that is not available of the new truck and the doors on it fit so
tightly there isn't enough clearance to snake a cable over any door seal
without pinching it badly.
Has anyone come up with a good way to get the coax into a similar vehicle?
I would like to mount the main body of the radio(s) under the driver's
side, rear passenger seat. There is a convenient compartment there.
This will be my 7th HF mobile installation over the years, but I'm a bit
stumped. Your suggestions will be appreciated.
