[Mobile-Portable] Outbacker?

I owned a Outbacker Perth model, and while it was very well made and fun to just reach up and change the "wander lead" for a band change, it was never a very efficient antenna. Even my Hustler resonators on top of a 54-inch break-over mast were much better performers. I worked a lot of DX on my Hustlers; hardly ever on the Perth.
