Tom....I hope someone can help.  I also have an "original" 50's long model 
color brown in great shape and used it until recently but sold the pickup 
and mobile xcvr.  I too would love to get any sort of paperwork to go with 
the antenna.  It works great in my opinion.  I constructed a capacitor match 
at the base using plug-in 1/4" phone plugs for 80 and 40 meters with the 
caps inside the plug  shells.  Us old  timers remember them well.....73,
