Tuners do nothing except fool your radio into
thinking it has a real antenna attached to it.
Yes, they will allow your rig to develop its rated
power output, but it won't do anything at all
to increase your actual signal otherwise.  There
is a common saying that if your antenna is not
ugly to a woman, it probably doesn't work very
well.

Well not going to get a Screwdriver, but will be getting a LDG Z-100 tuner.

I cant stand the sight of a screwdriver much less the price.
