[Mobile-Portable] follow-up - 101ZD in mobile

Hi -

Thank you to all who responded, great suggestions.......I got a "battery 
booster" 12VDC supply - a JUMPER 1000 by Century (rated at 1000 peak 
amps) and hooked up the rig to it (I wasn't in the car but the house) 
and all went well - no more constant alarm squealing from he inverter!, 
except fI did experience 1) inverter alarm sounding when I tune up the 
rug, but not when on SSB, and 2) plenty of EMI/RFI hash from the inverter.

Any suggestions on how to cure the hash? I heard that Isobar EMI line 
filters work well. I have got to try this in the car with the mobile 
antenna to see if I experience any grounding issues first, but wanted to 
get some feedback on the RFI/EMI first.
