[Mobile-Portable] Solid State Amps - Battery & Floating Charge?

Hi Doc...

I know this doesn't answer any of your questions, but if most of what
you'll be doing is stationary/portable, two things leap immediately to
mind:
1) The Sunspot cycle is going to be getting better soon, and,
2) A slick portable (hopefully buildable/tinkerable) knock-down beam might
be an easier way to get more db's output to the ether.
