I did solve most of my "Ford" Windstar noise problem with:
1. Ferrite on the leads at all five microprocessors
2. 0.5mfd caps on the front and rear A/C motors
3. Lots of fender, exhaust, body, hood, A/C line, etc. bonding
4. Complete ignition wire and ignition module shielding
5. Electric fuel pump L/C filter
6. A Heil DSP speaker (because the ICOM 706 DSP is not very effective)

My vehicle must now be at least as quiet as a "stock" Chrysler.

Note: Some of the ferrite was required to prevent RF from killing the engine
when I keyed up my 1100 watt HF amplifier.
