Most of the folks I know that used the Outbacker loved
it until the Screwdrivers hit the scene. I have known
several folks that have upgraded their screwdrivers
for better ones. The only issue I have heard
[collectivily] is grounding problems. But once those
are resolved they seem to have great luck.

I lease cars and do not want to drill, etc, to mount
one of them. In addtion, the wife thinks the 102" whip
is ugly so I don't even go with the screwdriver.

I have went the SCG route with both the SCG 2020 and
SGC 237 tuner. It works for me suprisingly well, and
I get decent signal reports on 80 to 10 [when bands
are open].
