[Mobile-Portable] Distorted transmit signal from Icom 706 MKIIG

Have Icom 706MKIIG driving Metron amp in a Saturn and
am transmitting distortion on signal. May be RF
getting back into the Icom..

Has anyone experienced having distortion on signal
from Icom 706 in mobile operation? Did you find the
cause and how did you correct the problem? Is there
any particular part or attachment of the Icom 706 that
is susceptible to RF feedback? The benefit of your
experience with the 706 will be greatly appreciated.
