There have been cases of transmitted RF affecting everything from 
windshield wipers to electronic ignitions to power brakes.  I had one 
vehicle where 50 watts of VHF would cause the solid state voltage regulator 
to over-charge during the transmission and another where 100 watts of HF 
would basically shut down the OnStar cell phone.

All anomalies were successfully corrected with appropriate grounding, 
shielding, bypassing and choking, but be careful out there.  A lot of these 
problems you don't want to discover for the first time on a dark and stormy 
night.
